My Adventures In Scrapbooking: Go Hybrid class over at Big Picture is now open for registration! Class starts February 25th, but there are some pre-class materials to help you get started. Click on a WordArt & select a style, dont worry if you not quite. Now not to go all “to be continued” on you… but yes that’s exactly what I’m going to do! Stay tuned for the January reveal to see the finished page.įor even more hybrid scrapbooking fun with yours truly – check out this class: First select your words that you want to apply Word Art to. IMPORTANT: Put the front side down! You want to print on the back of the paper. Then tape a scrap of patterned paper over the printed area (allow some excess) and print again. This will let you know where it is printing. I’m ready to print! First print on white regular printer paper. Rotate a table or a SmartArt graphic Copy the table or SmartArt graphic, paste it as a picture, and then rotate the picture. Since I’m printing backwards (just to cut it out) I went back into the formatting and changed fill to ‘nofill’ so it’s just outline. Rotate 90 degrees Flip an object Reverse text in a flipped object Reverse text See the article Reverse or mirror text. If you want the text to circle the shape, you can also do this, but it’s a little bit more work. Put your mouse over the circle that’s in the center of the left side of the text and ‘pull’ that dot until it crosses over the right side thus making the text… you guessed it… BACKWARDS! You can use WordArt with a Transform text effect to curve or bend text around a shape. The document im working on is already completed though so id have to re-copy and re-paste every pic again. Now right click any space and select the invert colors. Open the program, load your image, and then click on the select icon. The next step is to turn your text backwards. You can do this easily in MSPAINT or paint. Change orientation to ‘tight’ (this allows you to move it all over) and also fix it so it’s not all curved like mine. Here’s how to flip an image in a Microsoft Word document. Thankfully, Microsoft’s suite of applications can help. Your word art is in your document! Hooray! Now fiddle around with the toolbar that pops up. Jan 23, 2021, 9:00 am EDT 1 min read Mirroring an image is useful if you want to print a photo in a flipped perspective. That drops a Word 97-2003 WordArt object into the document. Choose a design that’s nearest what you want, type in some text (you can change it later). (don’t worry too much about size)įrench Script ROCKS for hand cut titles. From the file type list choose ‘Word 97-2003 Document (.doc)’ Now have a look at Insert Text WordArt. This will happen- and you write up your text + choose font. Then click on the one you want (see I’ve highlighted the third from top left? that’s the one I like or the very first ‘outline’ one works too) and click ok. I’m a big fan of hand-cut titles (though I don’t do them tons, I think they’re fun!) and today I want to show you one way I get mine done. I *love* word art and using Microsoft Word for my scrapbooking.įirst, open a Word document and insert>picture>wordart.
